The Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (TSEMA) has distributed relief materials to victims of the recent communal clash in Gomu, Karim-Lamido Local Government Area.

The intervention aims to provide immediate support to affected households and assist their recovery.

Mr. Muhammad Kabiru, representing the Executive Secretary of TSEMA, Dr. Echuseh Audu, presented the items. He conveyed the sympathy of the Taraba State Government to the people of Gomu over the incident and assured them of the government’s commitment to protecting lives and property, as well as delivering timely humanitarian assistance to communities affected by disasters and conflict.

The Agency specially commended the humanitarian leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, whose unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people continues to inspire and guide TSEMA’s rapid response to emergencies across the state.

TSEMA reaffirmed its dedication to collaborating with local authorities, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders to restore normalcy and ensure that relief reaches the most vulnerable persons.
